How Setup Your New Voicemail Greeting
With Burlington Telecom
1. To setup your new voicemail greeting please dial *09 from your Burlington Telecom phone line.
2. Enter your ten-digit phone number followed by pound (#) that has a voicemail box from Burlington Telecom (e.g. 8025400007#).
3. Setup the new voicemail PIN. It is a minimum of 4 digits long, up to 8 digits if desired. You can not use a repeating number or sequential number (e.g. 1234 & 0000 are not valid).
4. Setup your name on your voicemail box.
5. Setup your greeting on your voicemail box. This is what callers will hear when they try to reach the number in question and there are a few options between an automated greeting or a personalized greeting:
A. Personal greeting
B. System generated greeting with your name
C. System generated greeting with your telephone number
D. System generated greeting without your name or telephone number
