In an effort to better serve their customers in Burlington’s New North End, Burlington Telecom has opened an additional storefront in the Ethan Allen Shopping Center on North Avenue.
The new satellite space offers BT’s exceptional in-house customer service and technical support, with a few noticeable upgrades. Customers can lounge, living-room style, in a new OTT Test Lab where a Cord-Cutting specialist will provide demonstrations of the latest and greatest in over-the-top streaming technology to help customers discover which combination of devices and services will work best for their viewing habits and budget.
For parents stopping in to pay a bill or pick up new equipment, there is a chalkboard wall along with toys, games and books to entertain the kiddos.
BT’s new location is also home to a Virtual Reality classroom, complete with a permanent HTC Vive Virtual Reality gaming set-up and another Oculus Rift VR kit. The space will frequently be opened to the public for VR gaming nights, cord-cutting seminars, tech movie nights and more! Plans are already in the works to support the Champlain College E-Sports team with future game competition fundraisers.

GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION
BT will host a Grand Opening Open House event on Wednesday, April 4 from 8:30AM – 6:00PM.
In honor of the opening, Mayor Miro Weinberger will be temporarily relocating his weekly Mornings with Miro. Residents can tour the new store, chat with the recently re-elected Mayor, and fuel up with fresh bagels and coffee from The Bagel Café from 8:30 – 9:30a. Pizza will be served at lunch time and residents can experience Virtual Reality gaming, visit the OTT Test Lab, and be entered to win BT swag and other prizes all day long. This event is free and open to the public.
