Making a Difference, One Dime at a Time!

Burlington Telecom staff collects $510 for the UVM Children’s Hospital BIG CHANGE ROUND UP.

Every year, 98.9 WOKO teams up with businesses and schools throughout Vermont and NY to raise money for the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital with the Big Change Roundup for Kids. 100% of the money helps local kids, providing research, resources and support that saves lives.

As she has done in past years, BT’s Customer Service Manager Stacey Trudo, wanted to make sure Burlington Telecom was a part of this effort. Together, she and Director of Marketing, Abbie Tykocki, cheered on their staff to “round up” donations. In the end, Burlington Telecom employees dug through their wallets, couch cushions, and their hearts to collect $510 in change.

“Big Change Roundup is an incredibly important annual event in our community. Not only does it provide life-saving funding for the UVM Children’s Hospital, it teaches us all that even small contributions can make a HUGE difference, when we all work together from a place of kindness and generosity of spirit. Community is at the core of our values at BT . We’re happy to do our small part to help make a big impact on the lives of neighbors, coworkers and friends. – Stacey Trudo, BT Customer Service Manager
